What is sugaring?
At Sugar Bar Medina they use a technique called sugaring, which removes hair using sugar, water and lemon blended together into a paste to remove body hair. The blend is heated until it is sticky. Next, it’s applied to the skin in the opposite direction of hair growth. It’s quickly pulled off in the direction of hair growth, which pulls the hairs out by the root.
This blend is never hot, it is body temperature and can dissolve in water. Because this dissolves in water, this means no more wax residue or risk of burns! The paste is applied and lubricates the hair follicle and removes the hair in the direction it grows. This allows your skin to be hair free and irritation free.
